OVERVIEW OF MEDICAL COVERAGE

Insurance coverage is for participants’ medical expenses related to bicycling accidents at and during the event.

COVERAGE LIMIT AND DEDUCTIBLE

The maximum insurance coverage available is 50,000.00 MXN (Mexican Pesos) per person per accident. The deductible for use of the insurance is 500.00 MXN (Mexican Pesos) per person per accident.

RESTRICTIONS OF COVERAGE

TO BE COVERED BY OUR MEDICAL INSURANCE YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR TIMING CHIP ONLINE AT www.timetrack.com.mx/Rosarito BEFORE THE RIDE AND START THE RIDE FROM THE OFFICIAL START LINE WHEN THE EVENT BEGINS.

Insurance coverage is for participants of the Rosarito Ensenada 50 Mile Fun Bicycle Ride who have properly registered and paid to participate either through the event or its contracted sales agents.

Coverage applies to expenses for medical services provided in Mexico for injuries resulting from accidents that occur on the designated event course and during the specified hours of the event while the participant is: wearing appropriate safety equipment, including an approved bicycle helmet; riding safely; obeying all traffic laws and direction of police and event staff. Coverage expires when the event ends at 4:30 p.m. Pacific.

Coverage is limited to registered participants who are ages 8 years to 69 years old and proof of age is required for use of the policy.
